TA Program Application
We hope you are safe and well this 2021! A new year brings new goals for our consumers and our organizations. We are partnering to bring folks that have Healthy Community Living licenses from across the country together to learn more about how to use the Community Living Skills & Living Well in the Community workshops successfully. We know that sometimes getting a new program started can be daunting, especially if you have not typically done Independent Living Skills training in the past. In light of this, we are putting together a new group mentorship program for implementing the Living Well in the Community and Community Living Skills workshops, the Healthy Community Living Technical Assistance Program (HCL-TAP). The HCL-TAP program is a 6-month peer mentorship program for HCL license holders, specifically facilitators who are looking for support around hosting and facilitating a workshop.
We will meet weekly to discuss workshop start-up, recruitment, outreach, Zoom use, and the Healthy Community Living curriculums. As a group we will discuss tips for hosting successful HCL workshops and specific facilitation tips for each weekly session topic. It is our hope that some of our experienced facilitators will join this group as guest speakers to discuss their experiences and share their successes with newer facilitators. Participation in the program is completely FREE and we would encourage you to participate if you are able! We are hoping to recruit several organizations to designate HCL facilitators that would join us weekly for six months to work through topics, technical assistance, and setting your organization up for workshop success! If you are interested in participating in this free program, please fill out the intake form below by February 15th, 2021. We look forward to working with you!
